This year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) will be held from March 21st to 25th, 2022 in San Francisco, California. The event is returning in 2022 with a huge mix of informative talks, awards, roundtable discussions, and more, by professionals from around the globe. After a short break from in-person events, no boundaries are stopping the vast guest list this year, with a mixture of in-person and virtual appearances throughout the week. With GDC passes for attending both remotely and physically, this year’s event is a must.

Our translation engine is going to ‘change the game’.
We are excited to share with you our latest Player XP report focusing on the recently released game – ‘Ready Or Not’. Ready Or Not is a tactical first-person shooter (fps) where you play as SWAT police units with the objective to defuse hostile situations. Made by a smaller developer VOID Interactive, the modern-day style game was finally released in mid-December 2021, after its initial postponement. The game is currently available on PC in Steam Early Access so is still subject to changes and updates with new content.

Player XP has recently collaborated with Dovetail Games to provide them with insights from their community that helps them understand player needs and general opinion. Having access to this helps them understand where and how they can improve their games for players.

As we move on from 2021, which was another challenging year for everyone, we recap the more joyful events of the year for Player XP and look forward to achieving much more in 2022. We are very excited to announce the integration of Discord as a new data source inside Player XP. Recognising it is a constant feed of information that can be difficult to understand at first, it’s been one of our most anticipated new integrations. At Player XP we’re always trying to improve the value we provide you and the team and feel Player XP is the perfect place to gain better insights into your Discord community.
We believe this is a big step for us as we have wanted to implement this update for some time. However, our team was wary of the amount of data an update like this provides and wanted to ensure this update was executed perfectly. With the recent rise in the usage of Discord to build communities, we felt we could not effectively provide our community intelligence platform without including it.
To add Discord to your Player dashboard, authenticate Player XP when signed in as the Discord Admin. This allows us to use our bot to gather data from your Discord Server and provide you with insights into the sentiment of your server’s community.
At Player XP we have been working hard to improve our platform by implementing exciting new sentiment analysis features. This month’s update takes you through these new features, providing examples of how they can help you and your company understand the voice of the player. Since our last update on the 17th of August, we have developed the most refined and detailed statistics yet. This includes being able to customise the sources of your data to suit your needs. Through accurate data and strong sentiment analysis, we aim to provide you with the best and most unique experience yet.
We’ve been hard at work working on some new and exciting features, some of which we’ve already talked about in previous updates. This month’s product update focuses on one of these new features – Audience Type Segmentation.
